The ABN Oil Filter Cap Wrench Tool Set includes seven metric sockets ranging from 24mm to 38mm. They're all six-point 3/8" drive, chrome-vanadium steel sockets with a natural finish. They're advertised to fit: Mercedes, Cadillac, Buick, Saturn, SAAB, Dodge, Ford, Mini Cooper, Mach Trucks and some BMW.
We've been using this set for a number of years now and the low profile design makes it ideal for not only oil filter replacement, but also if you're in need of a large-sized, very shallow depth socket. As I'm sure many of you are aware, many canister-type filters are quite recessed. And even as shallow as these sockets are, it occasionally becomes necessary to utilize 3/8" wobble-extension or a universal socket to reach the hex of the canister. In a majority of cases though, It's not required. The set cost roughly $30-40—depending where you purchase—and are very lightweight and durable; haven't had a socket break yet.
